Hello Friends!
I am a first generation college grad -I graduated from college in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Organizational Leadership. I currently work as the Deputy Human Resources Director for Local Government where I live, and I squeeze in photography sessions any chance I get!
I love being outdoors, family time, the mountains, meeting new people, bringing creative ideas to life, and putting a smile on someone's face! In December of 2016, I married my best friend, Tyler. We currently reside in Robbinsville, NC and have 3 sweet kiddos!
I am a social butterfly and I love neutrals, waterfalls, chasing sunsets, and I'll drink anything with vanilla- Lots of it! My favorite thing about photography is connecting with so many great people and the diverse opportunities with making each session your own! I hope our paths get to cross some time in the near future!

Why choose me to be your photographer?
I am so glad you have landed on my photography website and if you've made it this far, I assume you have been searching and searching for the right photographer, so my hope is when you get done reading this, it will answer your question "is she the right fit for me?"
First, I am assuming you have taken a look at some of my work and you enjoy my style. My artistic style is warm and sharp, with my sessions taking place outdoors, with the exception of Weddings. Also, feel free to check out my social media to get an idea of what my personality is like!
Now, the good stuff! I am going to list a few reasons below on why I think you should book with me!
- Passion I have always told myself I would never venture into anything, especially learning from the ground up, if I did not have the passion for it. Every task I am dealt in this life, I give it 110% effort, it's just who I am. I absolutely LOVE capturing memories no matter what type of session it is. Don't be surprised if we laugh until we cry, celebrate until we can't celebrate anymore, and occasionally, I may shed a tear with you. Photography to me isn't just about standing behind a camera and pressing a shutter button 4000 times in a matter of minutes. I bond with my clients because I know how important it is to create that heirloom memory that will be cherished for years to come. Besides, I work full time at a local Hospital - I do not HAVE to do photography, I WANT to because I love it and I love my clients!
- People Person My husband and family would tell you I have never met a stranger in my life. I consider myself to have an outgoing and bubbly personality, which makes it so easy to photograph people. It is very likely we will become friends before the end of the shoot. I love when my client and I can laugh and have a good time, because that is who I am as a person and photographer. I believe in photography, if you are behind the camera, you need to have somewhat of an outgoing personality, so mine goes hand in hand with my job!
- Education/Skill I know you have heard the phase "practice makes perfect." I am not calling myself perfect, but I have invested in educational boot camps, online courses, and watched plenttttyyy of YouTube videos to get where I am today. It is so important to me to be able to deliver the best work possible for my clients. In the photography world, I feel like you never stop learning but you have to want to learn. I have taken every video, article, and module to heart and applied those skills in my shoots every single time. Because of this, I am very confident in my work and so are my clients!
- Preparation From the second we confirm a date and time, I begin preparing for our session together. I gather valuable info that allows me to plan location, poses, props, etc. My brain never stops from the time you book to the time your gallery is delivered. I am constantly thinking and mapping out details to give you the best experience you could possibly have. I love bringing visions to life, hop on over to my contact page and fill out the contact form and let's bring those visions to life!!
- Quality & Process This one is so important to me! Once we end the session and I begin editing your photos, I pay very close attention to details. If any photos need retouching, blemish touch ups, etc., I do that. I actually really enjoy this part in the process and I know my clients appreciate it. Once the photos are edited, they will be uploaded to your personalized online gallery where you will have access to the high resolution files. I highly recommend ordering any prints, wall art, etc. through a professional print lab, which can be done through my website!
- You're not just another session Let me start by saying that each client and each session is special to me. There are never going to be two the same. From preparation and planning to final review of photos before gallery delivery, I treat each client as if it were me in their shoes. I would want to feel important and special. I would like to think my photographer wouldn't just rush through my session and edits, but rather put as much time in as needed, in order to produce magical work. THIS IS ME! YOU are special to me, YOU are appreciated, and I am only as good as how I treat my clients. After all, you guys are the backbone of my business!!
